...is  about my time in the Army, starting the first day of the Tet  Offensive, January 30th 1968, with 8 weeks of Basic Infantry Training and 8 weeks  of Advanced Infantry Training at Ft. Dix, NJ. The journey continued  at Ft. Benning, GA, starting in June of '68 for a shortened 8 weeks of Infantry  Officer Candidate School. That was followed by 9 months with the 26th  ISPD Scout Dog Detachment and finally finishing up my time in the Army  with a tour of duty with the 4th Infantry in South Vietnam for 5 months -  12 days - 13 hours - 8 minutes and 6 seconds ---give or take a few seconds.
