The photo to the left was taken in the summer of '69---flower power, bellbottom jeans and Woodstock. These ten children are part of the indigenous Montagnard peoples of Vietnam's Central Highlands. They were, and are now, part of the lower class of the Vietnamese population. Their summer of '69 consisted of extended bellies, filthy clothes, and the daily fears associated with a war without borders. Look into their eyes. That's all you need to do---look into their eyes.
